Geometric Pavilion Design And Printing, Nine Elms, London.

This bright pavilion was designed to be a celebration for the re-opening of the Thames-side path in Nine Elms. The pavilion structure was designed by architects Studio Weave. The steel structure is covered in colourful hand printed wooden panels and copper-coated panels, typically used to construct water tanks.

The pavilion provides seating and shelter along with a raised garden containing hawthorn trees, a "rainbow" of grasses and perennial plants.
The colourful patterns are a reference to bridges built during the industrial revolution, which were often painted in vibrant colours, and the area's industrial heritage and the quay structures that have now largely been removed from this stretch of the Thames.

The project was completed in collaboration with Studio Weave and Churchman Landscape Architects.
